No such thing as too many marshmallows.
Picked up Meryl early for a couple of outings with a cream puff from Le Fournil in tow. One day we went to a windy Gas Works Park and another day we did some escalator escapades at U-Village. Cheers to adventure in the mundane!
Sarah went to Walla Walla for a much deserved girls trip, so we held things down while she was away (with much appreciated help from Lola). Thank you, FaceTime, for Meryl showing her lunchbox card and Diwali light to Mama. Happy Diwali to all who celebrate this Festival of Lights.
Meryl ‘schooled’ us on how to vote:) She learned in school about voting (Piggie vs. Elephant, courtesy of Mo Willems), current issues (helping people who don’t have homes), and voting protocols (including your signature and date on the ballot). Thankfully, she offered her consulting all the way to the ballot box.
Meryl loves watching her “I AM” classroom video. I love watching this scene:) (Also, it turns out that koozies make great kid gloves. Who knew?)
Dance practice!
Block party! This might be the last year the kids are willing to keep to the block (there are more houses out there after all). Partying on the street and parading down the block in costumes was pretty sweet…like Halloween candy sweet:)
