Or otherwise known, the kids were wired and the bedtime routine was nowhere in sight.
Spreading joy through the mail!
Can’t say Brussels sprouts went excitedly down the hatch at the dinner table, but I was once told that all the sensory experiences that come with food matter…seeing, touching, feeling, smelling, tasting, eating (bonus), talking, repeating. So let’s call this a win in the life marathon of learning to love brassicas.
She also wore her heels to bed:)
I love them. Holmes was upset and Meryl brought in her inflatable UW husky dog to comfort him and proceeded to read him books while he put his arm around her. We couldn’t help but watch and smile from downstairs. Keeping this memory for us because it’s bound to be fleeting for them!
So much suspense:)
Blast from the past! When we picked Meryl up from school yesterday, she was learning how to make a friendship bracelet and it brought back all the memories. Now to build bracelet making stamina:)
It’s amazing what a couple of months will give in terms of growth and confidence!
Holmes already has confidence on lock, but he has gained SPEED on the scooter…multitasking with an apple in hand to boot:)
And boats and booms! So much to see and watch at the view spot.
…We’re getting ready for the ‘bomb cyclone’ rain storm headed our way!
Kids.
Found playground toys are such a treasure, especially when they’re construction vehicles!
We finally getting around to scheduling play dates for this kid and he is so proud and happy to have is own friends:)
