The second graders at Meryl’s school had a market this week and Meryl got to go shopping! Her purchases included a handmade coloring book and popsicle stick snowflakes, and broccoli:)

We now get to pick-up Meryl from school inside! Well, outside, but inside the gate:) From showing off her latest playground feats to leading a floor-is-lava adventure near the chicken coop(!), it’s such a treat to get a glimpse of her day.
Kicking off the weekend with a visit to a local butcher. Sausages for these two main squeezes.
Frank picked-up Meryl from school last week for a date. First up, eating a Dick’s cheeseburger and milkshake in the trunk of the car. Then an adventure to Pacific Place downtown, a huge multi-story mall under renovation and empty because of the pandemic…and, most notably, a vertical cathedral of escalators:) Meryl loves escalators! They finished with a walk through Nordstrom, also empty but replete with sparkles and dresses.
She did it!
Time, practice, and patience…we’ve got a monkey!
Yes, yes indeed. Bigger, stronger, and taller:)
Thanks for the spider webs, Margy!
Announcing, Holmes as Chase the Paw Patrol!
Stay tuned for her blue sparkly fairy costume! In the meantime, Elsa here is trying out Mary Poppins’ slide down the stairs:)
(He may have been in pajamas all day today.)
Holmes got a little over excited chanting “live it up!” at dinner tonight:) I mean, you can’t argue a feel good moment.
Mmm…maple whipped cream:) And maple persimmon upside down cake!
Come ski season, we’ll have a burgeoning three-year old who will be ready to hit the slopes! Now to start plotting the mountain snack plan:)
