Yup, she said it. And it took forever. Lummi’s bowls too. And bedtime ended up being much later. And we are all in.

Back at it, this time throwing BIG rocks today.
Thanks, Molly, for our wedding present turned perfect play dough roller!
The visiting tent re-opened and we booked right away…Grandpa’s place also has the best driveway circle for riding all forms of wheels, which we of course brought. Gotta show off our skills!
Still works on these kids:) Grandpa had to see, of course!
Getting ice cream at Ken’s Market is now a thing. Loving the expanded walking adventure footprint!
And we’re OK with that tonight! Meryl and Tito walked all the way to Ken’s Market today…and back! They walked in pursuit of balloons, and arrived to find a Shug’s ice cream pop-up in the parking lot. Score! Don’t worry, balloons were also procured, pink for her and yellow for Holmes. (Not shown: ice cream running down her shorts and legs.)
Sunsets (and sunrises) have been spectacular lately. Complete credit goes to Lummi for getting us out at all the right times:)
This high chair is from Sarah’s mom’s side of the family. Basically, so many grandkids, cousins, first cousins once removed, multiple aunts and uncles, and likely more have sat in this high chair. And Holmes decided to play in it tonight. He didn’t care for the buckle and later stood on the high chair to ‘remind himself that we must constantly look at things in different ways.’
First day of school! Meryl is now a Mountain Room kid, while Holmes is a Cloud Room kid…cheers to reaching new heights!
Runaround! Carrying on one of my favorite childhood games with the kids. My Grandpa would lie on the gold shag carpet of the living room floor and I would run around him with my cousins…trying not to be caught, but also veering too close so we would:)
Tiffany’s birthday cookies arrived! This year, Meryl got 4s (naturally), dump trucks, and her forever favorite Honey Buckets! So fun.
Tennis lessons began today. The courts were in use, so we got creative in the backyard.
