We’re obsessed with the Olympics! All the events. All the time.

Ha! We are a vision of success here:) The ‘heated’ hotel pool the day before was cold, the popular hotel hot tub warmed more than just ourselves (germs?!?), Holmes ran a fever that night (none of us slept), the most delightful taxi cab driver took Holmes and me to urgent care and back early in the morning (go, taxi cab drivers!), Holmes tested negative for our modern day trifecta of diseases (COVID, flu, strep), and we all zombied through our first fantastic day at Disneyland with a nighttime capper at our favorite ‘World of Color’ show (lap snuggles, the kids still fit!). Hooray! We did it! We’re doing it!
Bean Boozled recovery!
You’re looking at the quality control team right here…and they brought back a bunch of Belly Flops:)
Tastebuds, get ready! Jelly Belly has a boxed set of twin colored jelly beans where one is a traditional flavor, and the other is, well…disgusting. Tutti frutti or stinky socks? Cappuccino or liver and onions? Pomegranate or old bandages? We went all in, and spit a bunch out! (Watch out Thanksgiving crew, we’ve got a new family taste test!)
Every time we go to the airport, Meryl and I have a moment with our favorite piece of art…carved wood that looks like beautiful fabric clothes! And, to Calistoga we go!
Valentine’s Day prep at Eight North! Meryl made pink and white paper chains to string around the restaurant:)
With Xanna too!
4th grade family fun! Students made the games, and we all got to play them.
Parade day! So many people. We came, we saw, and we went home to watch the parade on TV:) And, it was a lot of fun to be amidst a lot of happy people.
