Captured by the First Order no more! We joined a covert team of Resistance fighters, accepted a secret mission, and succeeded…Meryl especially loved the vertical ‘drop’ as we escaped back on to Batuu.

Building lightsabers and becoming one with the Force!
Thanks to the guidance of Savi’s Gatherers, the kids chose their lightsaber hilt themes (Meryl chose Peace and Justice, Holmes chose Elemental Nature), selected their kyber crystal colors (Meryl chose blue, Holmes chose red), assembled their hilts, and connected their lightsaber blades to stand ready for anything the galaxy puts in their path! And this is when Frank shed tears of joy:)
And this is when I started tearing up. All the best hits of Disney songs and visual imagery against the water…and mainly, we were snuggling and in awe and happy together. It was such a fun trip!
Yeah! We flip flopped between California Adventures and Disneyland, so we’ll flip flop here too. We’ve yet to determine the distinction between an attraction and a ride, mostly because they’re all attractively thrilling.
Team Spider-Man!
The Cars ride was a sneak of a surprise, and such a thrill. We purposely went at night because we got a tip that Radiator Springs and the rock formations of Ornament Valley all lit up was a sight in and of itself…it was! The ride started with a sauntering stroll and ended with a race, we loved it!
Autopia! Driving on the open road and cruising in the California sun. They even got drivers licenses, for the road that can only be travelled…inside Disneyland:)
It was after this ride that Holmes put his foot down on rollercoasters and Meryl decided she couldn’t get enough of them.
To Infinity and Beyond! To the depths of the Pirates of the Caribbean treasure troves (so much nostalgic love)! And to see It’s A Small World after all!
Pluto snuck into our photo and surprised us:)
It takes teamwork to only walk in shadows on a sunny day!
We were ever thankful for afternoon breaks at the hotel, we would have never made it all day without them! The kids desperately wanted to go swimming, and so we had to splash…only it wasn’t as warm as one would think:) Afternoon refresher!
Disneyland! Let’s do this! (Well, we went a week ago.)
Mickey! Both kids brought journals for characters to sign their autographs in and, go figure, Mickey was the very first character we met.
