Sasha, Mark, and Lainie arrived today! Why not sightsee to the top of the mountain and eat dinner with a view? (The kids had yet to eat ‘inside’ a restaurant since the pandemic began, what could go wrong?)
Fresh air with a heavy hand of minerality. So maybe we have a bit longer until they’re ready for multi-course meals:) Someday, endurance will get them to dessert. For now, not a bad place to rock out.
Snow plow, snow balls, snow ball throwing, SNOW!
Bakery and a bike rack, what more can you ask for?
Literally! We were stuck here for a while. Playgrounding yet again:) Turns out Elderberry Park has this cool pulley set-up to bring sand upwards to then pour into various PVC pipes outwards.
Swinging and watching the trains go by. Also, wildfire smoke blew into town today. It’s been a hot and dry start to the summer up here and the fires are already extensive.
The sands of time these days:)
I didn’t catch the whole course, but Meryl found herself squeezing into the front at the finish!
Biking on water with aunt Jane!
Same, same, but different!
Thanks for having us over, Jane and Gary!
Anchorage!
