We had to stop at the Cuddy Family Midtown Park for some playground time and ended up studying dragon flies by the pond. Note: Mosquitos still bite up here and Meryl seems to be their favorite. Some say they love those who are sweet, some say they love stinky feet.
Road Runner burgers (and grilled cheese) and dips in Campbell Creek!
The Bank’s 100th Anniversary party! Real deal big deal!
We visited our friend Sadie and her horse, Trinity, last weekend! Sadie is Frank’s high school friend Stacie’s daughter and it was so much fun to visit the barn and be horse people for a moment! If you couldn’t tell, Trinity is full of personality:)
Forget that smile, Mom, I’ve got this and know what I’m doing.
Home days are working out for Holmes:)
Gotta say, it was nice to get dressed up and have my makeup done!
Dose ONE! What a day. It was quick and transactional, like it should be. And there were lollipops, which make it all more noteworthy. Yes!
You bet we rode the escalator to celebrate afterwards!
I started crying in the car today after picking up Meryl. The Supreme Court’s overturning of Roe v. Wade, the radio playing all the protest and empowerment songs…and our delight of a daughter sitting in the back with her summer camp popsicle. What a gift she is, as well as my choice to bring her into this world. We chatted about strength and bravery and how gender is not indicative of either (oddly a conversation she had with friends today), and that we get to choose how we treat our bodies and how we feel and who we love, not someone else. It was brief, it was a moment together, and then we decided to get a car wash:)
Clothing choices by Meryl. Makeup, also by Meryl.
