Holmes has been hinting at wanting to sit on the tall stools at the kitchen island with us at mealtime and this weekend was his final push to join the olds. It’s SO MUCH fun sitting together! As a result, Meryl gained an even larger art station in her room and Holmes gained an imagination station in the living room, and the kitchen grew space!
In Holmes’ world, Scotch tape fixes everything. It even creates pretend tattoos from falling off Paw Patrol stickers:)
Great band name, right? Well, this practice session tested how well their capes actually fluttered, requiring fast running and high jumping.
Lola’s pumpkin hats return! We’re working through her vintage designs in anticipation of this year’s style:)
Another sick day, though it seems she’s on the mend:) Meryl has luxuriated in her solo-kid-hanging-out-at-home lifestyle…using scissors and markers with abandon. She made pumpkin window art yesterday and pumpkin necklaces today.
We might be getting too good at this. Practicing is the journey after all, though I’d rather not have to practice this much. Meryl was the next to stay home sick, so off we went to the testing site today. With any luck, she’ll return to class just in time to get tested again at school this week:)
We figured we might as well get hot chocolate on the way home:)
Fishing, reading, sleeping…with Red!
Ode to our health!
Happy Bat Mitzvah, Ruby!
