Watch party

With Spring and warmer weather upon us, Lola and Tito and the kids have enjoyed hanging out at the front door observing the world outside:)

Kindergarten bound

Shockingly, this girl is headed to kindergarten in the fall! In the name of science, somehow she’s grown to be almost five-years old and is speeding forward. We got to visit her school for the first time today and it was such a teeease:)

So many schools

[Un-posted blog post saved since December 2020. Why? Who knows, but it’s fitting today.] Meryl is very clever with her nighttime procrastination activities and on our last reminder to get some rest, she told Frank, “I need a lot of rest because I have so many schools to go to. Kindergarten, high school, grade school, so many schools.” This kid.

Celebration

How do you celebrate getting to visit the ‘outside’ of your future school amidst a pandemic? By getting takeout for lunch and riding an outdoor escalator thirteen times, of course! We really know how to live it up.

G O L F

Brings me back to oh so many days at the Moose Run driving range:) We’re gearing up for summer fun with Grandpa!

#respectthenap

Another round of Lightening Talks with the Seattle Aquarium! We learned about sea otters tonight, like how they’re warm blooded mammals, they don’t have blubber, but they do have lots of hair with air inside! And to help sea otters, we learned to #respectthenap.

Neighborhood walk

A street full of construction vehicles working to replace utility poles, water inside of tulips, rocks (always rocks), deep down utility meters covered with bugs and slugs, and a kid who wasn’t a kid. Always something!
