For several months now, Canlis restaurant offers live piano music in the evening on their YouTube channel, and it’s become part of our evening routine during dinner. After months of listening to their male pianists, they recently brought in Kelsey and we just love her! Meryl in particular (me too!). We chat requests for songs and it’s always a treat to hear them - tonight, it was “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.”
At three and three quarters years old, this girl takes showers. Thanks to inspiration from a French kids book in a Little Free Library on a walk, showers are now her jam. Thanks to Good Dog Carl, who used a hair dryer in the book, she used one last night too.
(Adventures with Baylie.)
Tonight, the Washington Athletic Club hosted a virtual magic show with Magic Evan. Meryl and Holmes loved it. Abracadabra!
A neighborhood restaurant bought an old Jeep and made it into a roving milkshake truck…and it’s become the ice cream truck we can’t avoid. Especially when our neighborhood invites it to the block!
Mostly, one for me! Especially after the stick incident:)
Lummi stole Holmes’ newly found stick and chewed it into smithereens in front of him:) He wasn’t happy about it, understandably.
Gotta capture these moments while I can!
Reading with Xanna virtually!
Everyone got haircuts today. My attempt at shaping Meryl’s self-do ended up being a rough pixie cut, all shag and no edge. As for Holmes, I have no clue what to do. I mean, it’s going to be hot this week sooo, short hair don’t care!
