Hide and seek, monster chasing, baking ‘egg salad sandwiches’ (her choice, she set a timer, and needed an apron), painting, watching the SpaceX rocket launch, eating all meals on his lap…entertaining Tito takes a lot of effort!

Meryl’s headed to school next week (with lots of new safety protocols)! Thanks to ecamp, she’s upped her communication savviness by raising her hand to ask a question, signaling a thumbs-up as her approval, using kind requests, and specifying people’s names when talking to them…navigating traffic takes practice!
Nope! Not with a little brother drumming on top…no time machine can get you far enough away.
Just when The Mé Mé hit its stride, Meryl tried something new. What, oh what, will this summer hold?
Going the distance!
Holmes is (very slowly) riding a scooter!
All buckled up…little did we know:)
Meryl’s signature scooter move. One hand, and one foot!
(Start to the weekend.)
First day out and Meryl is well on her way to pedaling independence. What a weekend!
Meryl coughed momentarily, and Holmes patted her back! (Thank you back pocket iPhone for being there in the moment!)
Holmes is starting to talk! Hug is a favorite book in our house, mostly because we get to hug a lot. And now with Holmes saying “huuuh,” we love it even more!
Nope, it’s not pasta, we made t-shirt yarn in the name of science. And bird feeders out of a milk carton and ketchup bottle. The Pacific Science Center hosted its first virtual family science night tonight, and we were all in! (Next up, we’ll see how we do with the t-shirt yarn homework.)
