Thanks for the buoy swing, Xanna!
Thanks for the buoy swing, Xanna!
(Only half her feet fit into these boots.)
Weekly pre-school dance party continues!
Cuddy family Zoom, talent show themed and to sing Happy Birthday to Noelle! Talents: riding a bike, singing, basketball dunking, sliding on a slide, toe jamming (sticking things in between toes), drumming on an oatmeal container, introducing a new dog and baby shrimp, juggling, and, thanks to Gretchen, story time with popsicle puppets!
A flamboyance of flamingos, thanks to the daily lunchtime live stream by the Cincinnati Zoo to learn about different animals. As for our animal, Lummi is always at the ready:)
Holmes loves to brush Lummi, and Lummi loves Holmes (ahem, attention).
In other Lummi hair management tactics, Meryl discovered the ‘joy’ of vacuuming today. (Why are we only just discovering this as an activity idea? She literally vacuumed every corner of the house today.)
Every day at preschool, Meryl played with dump trucks at the playground. And she has missed them! We did a curbside pickup at a toy store last week, only to be disappointed in seeing that the dump trucks were floofy plastic ones - so we returned them. Finnnally, ‘boxes’ arrived today and Meryl couldn’t contain her excitement and skipped her nap, knowing she had a surprise (ahem, dump trucks) waiting for her downstairs. Her guess was right!
I guarantee you this, Meryl can dig trenches anywhere she wants to fill her dump truck as long as she continues to be content playing on her own!
We went on a looooong stroll today to get security envelopes and a snack for the way home. On the way we learned about bird seed and suet from a neighbor, managed to pick some up along with our envelopes, and stumbled upon the house that is always decked out for a holiday on the way home.
