Announcing a brand new insect to planet Earth, the Sea Bug! Surprisingly, it lives in rivers:)
Remember them?!? They still exist.
Meryl made her own broom! Backyard branches for the win. She can’t wait to see Lainie this summer for flying lessons…after all, Lainie has mentioned that she knows Madam Hooch, flying instructor for the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry:)
Meryl practiced how she wanted ‘Evergreen’ to be written on her broom, much like how ‘Nimbus 2000’ is written on Harry Potter’s broom. Ultimately, she decided that Lola had the best cursive handwriting for the final imprint.
Tito brought out his scrolling screen to cheer on Meryl as she performed her latest song on the ukulele. Us adults reminisced about how he used to similarly say goodnight to Meryl from the driveway as she looked out from her bedroom…how quickly ‘our’ memories fade with kids! Well, there are always more memories to come:)
I think I’m getting to a chocolate chip cookie recipe that works with fresh milled flour. (Molly and I gifted ourselves flour mills this past Christmas and it’s been a delicious exploration ever since!) Fast forward to today, cookies to celebrate the last day of school!
Budding Paleontologists at the Burke Museum’s Dino Fest.
I love museum stairs. They’re always grand and dramatic in their own way.
Get it? When you’re teased into the motherload on your walk around the block.
