Off to camp and school! Cheers to a summer ahead of trying to bike as much as we can.

Meryl’s camp this week was Candyology at the Pacific Science Center…yep, the science of making candy! Pretty sweet week:) With after camp meanderings around Seattle Center too!
We keep finding higher play structures around town and the kids keep climbing higher!
Our neighbors have a strawberry farm and shortcake stand underneath the Space Needle…it’s prime time for summer visits!
We now get to be read to at night these days!
The Volunteer Park playground wading pool is gigantic and so wonderful! Wading pools in Seattle are now open!
Achievement day! All their hard work with at home jobs (part of the curriculum) and attending classes is paying off…and there’s a progression of medals and belts and trophies to go:)
We had a great week on the east coast! Great friends, great family…an all up great time.
Chalk this up as a parenting moment not to repeat, but one we seemingly found worth of capturing for a memory. Afternoon “quiet time” led Holmes’ curiosity to our mosquito bite device, which suction-cups a bite to help reduce the itchiness (it is helpful). That being said, Holmes found himself repeatedly suctioning his cheeks, and here we are:)
Lucky us! A traveling carnival arrived in our friends’ town perfectly timed for our trip! And if you went to a traveling carnival in your youth, our experience was exactly the same with quite possibly the same rides and games:)
It was all a racket and it was all worth it. This was also the night that Holmes proclaimed that he wasn’t going home:)
Couch time with Kyra! In which Kyra taught the kids various terms of art. There are no bad apples in this bunch!
Our kids look forward to this chase game with Will…who has found quite possibly the most awkward way to chase them:)
Lucky us that we could get together on the east coast!
Weather delays and almost ten hours sitting on the same plane…but we made it!
