A perk to walking the two blocks home from the bus stop!
Xanna and Meryl are now taking turns reading books!
What fun it was to see everyone and hang out!
We trespassed on to the race course for a couple of runs!
In the next edition of snowy treats that Holmes loves to eat…hail!
I’m still amazed that we can go skiing and come back to play in the grass on the same day:)
Finger writing using rice! Leave it to school to have the great ideas…shake, shake, shake and you’ve got a clean slate.
Snow person! Well, formerly hangman, but no one needs to drop when we can build someone up. Kids Wordle? It’s a great brain game.
Highlights day! Holmes receives their junior magazine, High Five. The scratch off images are always the first activity before diving in. Still great after all these years and the kids read them over and over.
Second year in and it’s now officially a tradition. Our friend, Melisa, generously stops by with all her crafting supplies for classroom Valentine’s Day card making. Glitterrific!
Meryl went to a friend’s birthday party and made a duct tape wallet that is so impressive it needed to be shown to all of us at home, and Xanna too:) Elsa blue sparkle tape on the outside, pink confetti tape on the inside and, get this, an interior pouch that closes using the ‘zip’ part of a Ziploc bag. Clever!
