Last day of summer camp show and tell for Meryl! Us parents were impressed the kids climbed that ladder…and then they launched on to the trapeze!
Did you know that flying on the trapeze is the safest thing you can do in the circus? Factoids learned this week. As well as the gym rules, “be safe, have fun, work hard, and be kind.” She’ll be back next week!
All interesting, all fun!
We joined the Skate Like A Girl community skateboarding session this afternoon, got a mother-daughter lesson (yikes for me!), and tried out the ramps (all Meryl, I was the support crew). Reason #67493217 I’ve gotta keep working out:)
Plus, our neighbor made the ramps! It was fun to see him and though I doubt I’ve gained any cool points, Meryl certainly did:)
And block ball kids!
Nothing like coming home from dinner to see the kids eating ice cream in their pajamas!
And oh so proud to attend! After hearing about Meryl’s summer camp adventures all summer, Holmes is thrilled to go to his very own one this week during the break between preschool sessions. New teachers next week!
Post camp lunch date before Xanna got on her plane!
Patting myself on the back, I did this! Request fulfilled…even down to making sure the tiniest crystal on the blue band faced outward:)
Friday song!
Kyra and Lainie came to PARTY!
Foiled! Holmes ever so surreptitiously joined Meryl’s and Lainie’s candle blowing moment…to blow the candles out JUST before they did.
