I had thought I was so successful reading a chapter book to these quiet adorable souls. Holmes was playing with his trucks on the windowsill…but in reality, he was picking the paint off the window trim and piling the paint chips into his dump truck. Exhaustion, silence, and then I roll over to see this. They really do turn the emotional tide, here’s to another moon.

Mail call! So much build up, individual envelopes for each kid, a FaceTime call to Xanna for the grand opening, and inside were…things they forgot in Alaska! A single Lego piece for Holmes and hair bows for Meryl:)

Origami shop

Meryl is working on making lots of origami creatures to supply her upcoming origami shop. She gave two of them to the electricians today, so the shop may already be experiencing some supply chain challenges before opening.
