At least that’s what we call it:)
Planetarium storytime at the Anchorage Museum! What a treat to walk into just as we arrived!
Ha! It was fun to see the remodeled museum and all the artwork I grew up visiting in new spots! (Though, I do miss the cultural life dioramas and plastic water rivers with salmon swimming in them.)
So much fun!
The Smithsonian is inside the Anchorage Museum! It is such a great exhibit. Gotta say, the screen features are way cool. Find an object on the wall and study it on the screen, twirl it around, zoom in, zoom out…snow goggles, kayaks, masks!
I didn’t get many pictures from Grandpa’s Life Celebration for good measure, and I will say that it was absolutely wonderful to be in the same room with treasured family and friends to remember his life well lived. Grandpa lives on in our memories together and we’re so lucky to be in each other’s orbits.
May all your styling wishes be granted!
Kayaking around Yukon Island! (Sadie Cove in the distance and memories of many clamming and mussel-ing adventures with Grandpa.)
We totally tried kelp, thinking it would be the taste sensation of the century. It wasn’t. Salt water helped.
Xanna and Lisa took the kids kayaking too! At the Alaska SeaLife Center:)
Fresh perspectives at Jo and Peter’s…and hey, why not compliment the scene while you’re at it:)
