Gymnastics bound

First gymnastics class in the books for Holmes! Woot! I think I’m going to put together a photo series called, “Kids In Doorways.” You know, photos of our kids walking through doorways to an activity, seemingly never looking back at us loving parents, off to an adventure:)

Raclette night

A winter meal on the first day of spring, go figure. Turns out, the kids are able to fill both of their hollow legs with sausage, cheese, and toasty bread…and still want more.

“What More Can I Do”

Performances live on! Encanto is very much a favorite and comfort-watch in the house these days. For Meryl, performing to the ‘Isabela song’ (AKA her favorite song) is her jam:) We’re all in.

Water power

This morning might have been Holmes’ highlight of the year. The water utility tech arrived to check our water meter as we were walking out the door to school and Holmes just might have exploded all of his love-of-infrastructure excitement on the sidewalk. For a kid who asks us to check under ‘every’ utility cover he sees, seeing a professional read blew his mind. And to top it off, he also got to see the tech use his super power (his words)…water! He had a trusty squirt bottle to clean dirt off meters for clear readability:)
