Ski season, you were a good one. Meryl now skis on her own and Holmes is now primed for lessons. Maybe, just maybe, I’m primed for upright untethered skiing next year. And Frank, our favorite mountain paparazzi photographer, is already setting his sights on other chairlifts and runs:)
Mangos!
Check us out! Girls ski day! Meryl and I headed up to the mountain last weekend to celebrate finishing ski lessons and being able to ski all by herself! And then we decided that her boots were too small and there’s nothing that competes with cold feet, so we headed home drinking hot chocolate. I’m shocked we got a second season out of her boots and I’m thankful for the used equipment store by our house with a bigger pair to finish out the season…to which Holmes could very well use next year:)
Fixed waistband, what’s that? We purged the back of our closet for clothes we seemingly wore a lifetime ago to celebrate what is most notably dating for a big, sweet, and indulgent chunk of our lives!
Xanna came to visit! We took her to see the sea lions…but there was only one. So now it kind of looks like we’re the animals on view:)
Holmes always likes to pull pieces from the bottom:)
Meryl can’t resist a moment to practice braiding:)
Meryl went to camp last week during mid-winter break and made all sorts of Mardi Gras themed art…but the pièce de résistance was her chocolate dipped marshmallows that she made and brought home for dessert!
They never cease to amaze.
This kid loves treats, and feeding treats to Lummi. Luckily, they both love cheese. Lucky for Lummi, Holmes seemingly knows how to feed them both cheese treats:) Also lucky for Lummi, after a month of chemo, her blood levels this week are…NORMAL. We’re still shocked. She’s got another round of treatment protocol to work through to show a history of normal blood levels to presume remission, but still! And the X-Rays showed that her lung lesions are gone too! In so many ways, it’s nice to have her back:)
It’s a moment. It’s a feeling:)
In essence, effervescence.
We are behind in blogging! Cheese for now, full course later:)
