From Meryl: “I am driving with Holmes and those orange things are my friend, Bowser, and we’re taking him home and I am smiling.”
Yum!
Meryl heard the words ‘shoe cleaning’ this past week and pressed for it to be the entertainment anchor of the weekend.
Woot! Meryl caught the rock climbing bug today. Two school friends (twins who still to this day I have a hard time distinguishing) invited her to join them at a cool fresh-air-open-garage-door climbing gym, and she’s all in now…after a first couple rounds of nervous heights moments:) What a fun moment to see her confidence build and excitement take over.
We love puzzles! Though, destroying them after putting them together is just as much fun!
We’re now operating a yoga studio underneath the dining table. The big question is how much yoga will it take for us adults to enter the yoga studio?
Xanna’s in Calistoga! So we had to get a tour to refresh our view for when we can visit Calistoga…Frank and I got our first vaccine doses this week (waitlist mania is mania in Seattle), so fingers crossed! I teared up when we got our shots.
It’s been a good one!
Slushy snow and sunny skies!
Fun times catching up! After ‘feeding’ Baylie everything in the kids kitchen (using tongs, of course), Holmes took her down to the basement for a 1:1 chat:)
Move over, Bunny, we’ve got someone else to celebrate. Holmes woke up singing “Happy Birthday” this morning…for Digger. I asked if he was going to make Digger a cake, but Holmes corrected me saying we’d be celebrating with meat, gummies (vitamins), and toast.
Huzzah! Such a thing as an underwater phone case exists!
Scootering with Tito, with a check-in at the neighborhood Little Free Library.
Aha! Turns out the dishwasher silverware baskets are removable:) Research was needed to discover what fit inside them…toys turned into treats and baskets turned into trick-or-treat baskets. (I was lucky to be offered a choice of treats: mint, parmesan, chocolate, or bulldozer cream flavored.)
