Every night

Every night I take a single picture of each kid sleeping. Holmes is a tough one to capture as he is a light sleeper and I had to build up my confidence to go into his room as he’d always move when I went in, making me think I’d woken him up. Still, most of the time he sleeps on his side and I don’t often get to see his face. So this is a token moment:)

2T

A bit ago, we uncovered these pajamas, which surprisingly fit Meryl despite the fact they were a size 2T. Hearing “2T,” Meryl thought these particular pajamas were called “tootie” pajamas. It took us a moment to put it together, but ever since, they bring joy when they’re clean and a top of the heap nighttime option.

Surprise snack

Every day after school, we use hand sanitizer and then Meryl closes her eyes and holds out her hands for her surprise snack. (And then she changes clothes when we get home.)

Post-dinner nap

Bunny ate her dinner really fast and decided to take a post-dinner nap. Luckily, she wore her ear plugs so our talking wouldn’t wake her up.

Hot dogs and potato salad

Well, we didn’t get to Homer this summer, but we did have grilled hot dogs and Jo’s potato salad on the fourth! Two out of three. Though, Seattle hot dogs are served with cream cheese and grilled onions:)

Family workout

The Nike training app is free right now and they’ve recently released a number of parent and kid training workouts. So naturally, we had a family workout with the 2019 trainer of the year and his daughter. The word of the day is “ACTION!”
